Math Reflection

1 thing that I learnt is how to figure out how to do the problem and what clue use.

Something I need to work on is my solving problem and what strategy to use .

Skills I have used in my solving problem is that I help my group solve the problem, and help them with the equations.

On the sideways picture we use the times, and guess and check strategy, and we keep guessing what makes 54 and we got 6X9 because it makes 54 and 6+9 is 15

After presenting our Group Math Problem solving slideshows and our own Reading Journal slideshows I learnt that: I needed to add more detail to my writing 1 thing that was good about my/our presentation was: the math presentation was good and it made sense 1 thing I found hard about our/my presentation was: the reading work didn't really make sense to the book 1 thing I need to improve on is: I need to improve my writing and reading skills

Why teachers strike

Teachers have a strike because teachers have to mark lots of work and tests that students do, and they don't get enough time to do it, teachers strike so they will have enough time to organise all the things that are important. So the students have a day off so there will be less work for the teachers to do.

I agree that they need to strike, because teachers need more time to do their work.

The Revolution Tour

On Monday May 27th the whole school when to the hall to see the Revolution Tour. Our class sat at the back of the hall, on the left side,but there was a problem, the people who sat in front of me were tall people, so I barley saw it.

The first thing they did was to sing to the whole school, and they told us if we recognise these songs but I didn't. After the songs the front person, Ben told us some stories about his friend, and he said that they were real. the stories were very interesting. Then we all stand up and went back to class.
My favourite part was when the girls were singing the songs, and I like it how confident they were.

The holidays

In the holidays me, my sister, and my brother, and my cousins decided to go to the pools go to the paraparaumu pools for a swim in my dads car, but my cousins mum is driving. before we go, we all packed our togs, towel, and swimming goggles in bags, and went to the toilet before we left, then we all went into the car. but when she turned the key nothing happened so she tried it two more times but still nothing happened, then we just realised the car ran out of battery, so we all went back into the house and sat on the couch.

At school we were reading a poem about the Mara. First had to figure out which insect was which then put some pictures of the insects and write the word in English and Maori.
